    Associate, Commercial Contracts (2 to 6 PQE)

    The role

    You will join a commercial contracts team advising on everything from large strategic deals to standard trading terms.

    • Advise private and public sector clients, with a focus on transport, utilities and engineering
    • Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
    • Give commercial support on corporate and real estate deals
    • Work with colleagues across the UK and overseas and help with client briefings and articles

    What you will need

    • 2 to 6 years PQE in commercial contracts in private practice
    • Strong drafting and a good knowledge of different contract types
    • The ability to run several matters at once to tight deadlines
    • At senior associate level, some coaching of junior lawyers and business development
