    Associate / Senior Associate, Consumer Credit and Payments Regulation (2 to 6 PQE)

    The role

    You will join a financial services team advising lenders and payment businesses on retail consumer credit and payments products.

    • Advise on the Consumer Credit Act and UK payment services rules
    • Guide clients on FCA conduct requirements across the product lifecycle
    • Help clients put regulatory change in place
    • Carry out regulatory due diligence on corporate deals and train client teams
    • Use AI tools as part of how the team delivers work

    What you will need

    • 2 to 6 years PQE with a solid grounding in financial services regulation
    • Good judgement on risk and clear, persuasive advice
    • Some experience of scoping and pricing work
    • At senior associate level, mentoring of junior lawyers
