Capital Allowances Consultant
The role
You will help prepare capital allowances claims across a range of property types. You will analyse construction costs, property documents and financial records, draft technical reports for submission to HMRC, support client communications and meetings, and work with senior consultants on team projects. You will keep up to date with legislation and guidance.
What you will need
A degree in surveying, accountancy, tax, law, engineering or a property subject. Working towards or recently gained RICS or an accounting or tax qualification such as ATT, ACA or CTA. Four to eight years in capital allowances or a related field, exposure to commercial property or construction projects, strong Excel and Word, and consultancy experience.
