The role
- Manage claims colleagues, allocate capacity and coach people to improve technical judgement and service delivery.
- Oversee insurer relationships, case reporting, service standards and the operation of delegated authorities.
- Review files and management information, identify risk trends and use audits and training to improve consistency.
What you will need
A claims specialist with strong technical knowledge and previous line management experience is sought. You should understand relevant legal and policy requirements and be able to support colleagues while making sound commercial decisions. The role suits someone who can manage performance constructively, maintain effective client relationships and translate recurring issues into practical improvements. It combines people leadership with continuing responsibility for the quality of claims handling.
