Build specialist legal experience while helping clients and families manage the practical demands of a property and affairs deputyship.

    The role

A Court of Protection team is seeking a paralegal to support client matters and take responsibility for allocated work. You will contribute to case progress and client service while developing an understanding of the financial and procedural requirements of deputyship work.

    • Progress delegated property and affairs matters and keep client files and records accurate.
    • Communicate with clients and colleagues, ensuring enquiries and outstanding tasks are followed through.
    • Record work, support fee and financial administration, and contribute to professional relationships and development activities.

    What you will need

Previous legal support experience is preferred, but is not essential, as training is available. You should be organised, willing to learn and able to communicate clearly and sensitively. This is particularly relevant to applicants who want to understand how a specialist legal team supports vulnerable clients over time.

    What is on offer

    • The opportunity combines legal administration with responsibility for progressing work, rather than being limited to document handling.
    • Apply through Connect Legal Partners with your CV for a confidential discussion about the role.
