Build a grounding in housing litigation while supporting cases for housing providers operating in Wales and England.

    The role

A paralegal is sought to assist lawyers and build responsibility for housing matters. Work includes possession proceedings, injunctions and disrepair, with opportunities to learn how client advice is translated into properly prepared court documents.

    • Prepare claim documents, witness evidence and hearing bundles under lawyer supervision.
    • Keep case deadlines and records organised, and communicate with clients, counsel and the court.
    • Assist at hearings when required and take increasing responsibility for allocated matters.

    What you will need

You should be able to research, draft clearly and organise a demanding workload. A degree at 2:2 level or equivalent in a relevant subject is required. Housing or property litigation experience is useful, but is not essential. Careful attention to detail and clear client communication matter.
