    The role

A legal finance team is looking for a careful, organised colleague to support daily cashiering and bookkeeping. The work offers a practical mix of financial processing, queries and compliance, with client service forming part of the role.

    • Process receipts, payments and transfers, and support accurate billing and supplier invoice handling.
    • Complete bank and Legal Aid reconciliations, investigating outstanding or unmatched items.
    • Follow client money controls, account rules and checks intended to reduce fraud and money laundering risk.

    What you will need

Legal cashiering experience is strongly preferred, although the advert also welcomes suitable applicants without it. An ILFM qualification is helpful rather than essential. You will need strong numeracy, consistent attention to detail and experience of dealing professionally with clients by telephone and in person.

    What is on offer

    • This could suit an experienced cashier or someone with relevant financial skills who wants to develop a specialist understanding of legal accounts.
    • Apply through Connect Legal Partners with your CV for a confidential discussion about the role.
