The role
An experienced employment solicitor is sought for a role combining contentious and advisory instructions. You will handle matters independently for businesses and employees, and work with other practice areas on projects with an employment dimension.
- Advise on workforce change, restructuring, redundancy and operational HR issues.
- Handle employment disputes, tribunal representation and settlement agreements.
- Support corporate transactions, workplace compliance and the development of new client relationships.
What you will need
Around five years or more of qualified experience is preferred. You should be comfortable running a matter from instruction to completion and giving practical advice to clients. Willingness to take part in business development is essential, together with the ability to work across teams and build professional contacts.
