    Trust and Estate Disputes Associate

San Francisco Bay Area, California Private ClientFull time US$175,000 to US$225,000 base, plus bonus opportunities

Handle substantive fiduciary disputes while building the judgment and client relationships needed for senior practice.

    The role

Develop your contentious trusts and estates practice through disputes involving trustees, executors, beneficiaries and family wealth. Matters can include contested wills and trusts, fiduciary claims, elder abuse allegations and applications to remove fiduciaries. You will contribute to case strategy, prepare pleadings and substantive written work, manage discovery and help prepare matters for hearings and trial. Direct client contact forms part of the role.

    What you will need

The practice is seeking an attorney with active California bar membership and approximately four to six years of focused trust and estate litigation experience. You should be comfortable with the procedural and interpersonal demands of probate disputes and able to combine clear drafting with practical advice. General litigation experience alone does not meet the stated specialist requirement.
