    The role

    Take responsibility for family law matters from initial instruction through resolution in a San Diego practice. The role is designed for a lawyer who is comfortable managing cases independently, communicating clearly with clients and maintaining strong standards of representation. Support from senior attorneys is available when needed, allowing you to combine case ownership with experienced guidance. The brief emphasizes reasonable caseloads and sustainable working practices.

    What you will need

    You will need an active California law license and substantial recent experience focused primarily on family law. The practice particularly seeks lawyers with around seven years or more of relevant experience, while considering the overall profile. Strong organization, attention to detail and effective communication are important. Specialist family law certification is valued but is not required.

    • Base salary is US$180,000 to US$225,000, with uncapped performance bonus potential and stated total earnings of US$180,000 to US$275,000.
