    The role

    Lead the engineering organization behind a technology enabled consumer legal services platform. You will recruit and develop engineers, set technical direction and translate priorities into reliable releases. The remit covers client portals, case management, internal tools, integrations and supporting data or payment systems. A key focus is applying AI to practical workflows so legal teams can serve clients more efficiently while maintaining quality.

    What you will need

    You will need at least five years of software engineering experience, including engineering leadership and a record of hiring and developing effective teams. Strong architectural judgment and the ability to contribute hands on are important. Experience delivering measurable improvements through AI is particularly relevant. Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, React and cloud based systems is useful; a legal background is not required.

    • This full time opportunity is hybrid in Toronto.
    • Base salary is CA$200,000 to CA$230,000, with stated target cash earnings of CA$320,000 to CA$350,000 including a performance bonus.
