    The role

    Lead a team supporting Canadian permanent residence matters, taking responsibility for performance and the quality of legal delivery. You will coach case managers, develop future leaders and provide guidance on complex files. The remit includes improving response times, client experience and capacity, building quality controls and working with senior colleagues on growth. Technology and AI tools form part of the effort to make the practice more effective.

    What you will need

    You will need to be a Canadian lawyer in good standing, with relevant Canadian immigration experience and proven people management ability. Permanent residence experience is particularly useful, with around two years of immigration practice preferred. The brief puts substantial weight on your ability to lead and develop a team. Confidence using technology and improving repeatable processes is also important.

    • Base salary is CA$125,000 to CA$150,000, with stated target earnings of CA$141,000 to CA$166,000 including performance bonus.
