    Chief Technology Officer, Legal Services

    The role

    Lead the technology and product direction of a platform supporting consumer legal services. You will develop client portals and case management, prioritize requests from legal teams and clients, and improve the practical use of AI across service delivery. The remit includes building a scalable technical platform and recruiting engineers, product, design and data capabilities. You will combine leadership with direct technical contribution as the platform develops.

    What you will need

    You will need engineering leadership experience and strong product judgment, ideally from a startup or a role building a new product. The brief generally seeks at least five years of relevant experience and welcomes capable first time CTOs. You should be able to code when needed and demonstrate that you have made AI useful in real workflows. A legal background is not required.

    • Base salary is CA$275,000 to CA$350,000, with performance bonus and a long term incentive arrangement.
