Senior Debtor Side Bankruptcy Litigator

Lead debtor side bankruptcy disputes, including adversary proceedings, contested matters and related litigation. You will develop strategy, manage cases through court advocacy and resolution, and build relationships with clients across an established practice. The role includes close collaboration with bankruptcy and commercial litigation colleagues and scope to take on broader responsibility as client relationships and leadership needs develop.

You will need active New York bar admission and substantial debtor side bankruptcy litigation experience, generally at least eight years. Strong courtroom skills and confidence handling complex contested matters are essential. A portable client practice is valued, although the brief also considers senior associate candidates. You should be able to lead matters independently and maintain clear, practical communication with clients.
