    The role

    Develop a labor and employment practice in Houston, taking responsibility for client relationships, legal work and business growth. The platform provides associate and practice support, together with business development and marketing resources. You will have scope to shape your practice while working with colleagues on client opportunities and related workplace issues. The role is intended for a senior lawyer ready to combine independent practice leadership with wider collaboration.

    What you will need

    You will need at least ten years of labor and employment law experience and a portable client book of approximately US$1 million. Strong commercial judgment, trusted client relationships and the ability to develop new business are important. The opportunity suits a lawyer who wants to remain focused on employment law while taking an active role in the growth of their practice.
