    Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate

    Keep full responsibility for insurance disputes, from coverage analysis through the courtroom stages.

    The role

    Manage insurance litigation through pleadings, discovery, depositions and trial preparation. You will develop written arguments, make court appearances and advise on the coverage questions behind each case. The role combines the responsibility of running a caseload with access to experienced colleagues for discussion of strategy and more demanding legal issues.

    What you will need

    At least three years of litigation experience and admission to the New Jersey Bar. Clear legal writing, sound research and analytical skills are essential. You should be comfortable organising competing deadlines and progressing cases independently. Direct insurance coverage experience is useful, although wider relevant litigation experience will be considered.

    What is on offer

    • A full time role in northern New Jersey with four office days per week.
    • Advertised base pay is US$154,000 to US$165,000, with potential up to US$185,000 depending on qualifications, plus discretionary bonus and a benefits package.
