Corporate and Venture Capital Associate

Advise growth businesses on financings, governance, equity arrangements and commercial questions. You will draft transaction documents, work with capitalisation information and disclosure schedules and coordinate matters from early planning through closing. The role combines transaction responsibility with continuing general counsel support, giving you the opportunity to understand how a client’s business develops between funding rounds.

Around four to six years of corporate and venture capital practice at a leading startup or venture law firm, including at least three years consistently with one firm. You should have led financing documentation and bring strong drafting and direct client skills. A law degree, familiarity with early stage investment structures and careful management of several relationships are important.

• A fully remote US based position.
• Base salary is $152,000 to $216,000, with a separate bonus component and compensation linked to the agreed workload.
