    Citizenship Practice Lead

    The role

    Lead and develop a team handling citizenship and proof of citizenship applications. You will work alongside another lawyer on legal standards, coach case managers and take responsibility for service quality and client outcomes. The role also includes recruitment, training and using operational data and technology to improve how the team handles a growing caseload.

    What you will need

    Canadian lawyer status in good standing and proven people management experience. Strong leadership matters more than an existing citizenship specialism, and lawyers from other practice areas are welcome. You should be comfortable learning quickly, using AI tools and taking ownership of team performance. Relevant legal experience and a practical, collaborative approach are important.

    • A full time, hybrid Toronto position, with the precise office pattern to be agreed.
    • Base salary is CA$150,000 to CA$175,000, with a separate performance bonus and employee benefits.
