    Senior Associate or Legal Director, Non Contentious Construction

    Birmingham (other UK offices considered) ConstructionPermanent, full time, hybrid (at least three days a week in the office) Competitive

    The role

    You will advise on non contentious construction matters for development and infrastructure projects, with good client contact from the start.

    Work includes drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and bespoke building contracts and development agreements, plus consultant appointments, warranties, bonds and third party rights.

    You will help clients with procurement and risk allocation and work alongside real estate and infrastructure colleagues.

    What you will need

    Five years or more PQE gained in a recognised construction practice.

    Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness.

    Able to run matters on your own and mentor juniors.

    Major project, development finance or Building Safety Act experience is a plus.
